Oppo K14 Plus: The Oppo K17 Plus has a 6.77-inch FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It has a resolution of 1,272 x 2,772 pixels, for a pixel density of 450 ppi, and manages 1,800 nits in high brightness mode. The panel uses AGC DT-Star D+ glass for protection. As for software, the Oppo K14 Plus runs ColorOS 16, which is based on Android 16.
Redmi 17: The Redmi 17 offers a very basic HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. This panel peaks at 825 nits in high-brightness mode but uses Corning’s Gorilla Glass 7i for protection. The phone runs Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 out of the box, which is based on Android 16.

Out of the three smartphones in this comparison, Oppo’s K14 Plus is an easy pick. It has the best durability rating, display and a capable processor. Realme 16x would be our next choice, but it offers little value at its current asking price, given its basic camera hardware. The Redmi 17 is hard to recommend given its humble hardware specifications. Get it only if you are on a tight budget and just want a second device with good battery life.
