Vivo’s V80 Lite 5G, which is said to make its debut in India next month, has just been announced in Pakistan. The Vivo V80 Lite announced in Pakistan appears very similar to the Vivo S2 launched in India earlier this month and has also been announced in two familiar finishes. The device has a curved-edge display with a high-capacity battery, all packaged into a thin design that’s quite light. Just like the Vivo S2, it will also be sold as a mid-range device.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G Price, Availability
The Vivo V80 Lite 5G‘s price in Pakistan starts at PKR 1,24,999 (approximately Rs. 43,000) for the base 8+128GB variant and PKR 1,45,999 (approximately Rs. 50,000) for the 8+256GB variant.
Unlike the Vivo S2 in India, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G will only be available in two finishes: Sapphire Blue and Silk White.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G Features, Specifications
The Vivo V80 Lite 5G has a slim, curved-edge design with curved glass protection on the front and a polycarbonate rear panel. Vivo claims that the V80 Lite 5G’s design is both IP68- and IP69-rated for durability. It measures 164.42 × 75.25 × 7.99 mm and weighs 197 grams (199 grams for the Silk White finish).
The phone has a 6.83-inch, 120Hz AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels (449 PPI) and claims to offer a local peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Inside, there’s a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.5GHz. The phone offers 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
There’s a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera for capturing Portrait mode photos. Selfies are handled by a 32-megapixel front-facing hole-punch camera. The Vivo V80 Lite 5G is backed by a 7,050 mAh Li-ion battery and offers 44W charging using the bundled charger.  The smartphone packs Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4 and a Type-C USB port with USB 2.0 support. The phone also supports the usual satellite positioning systems like GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and BeiDou.
