Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, Edge 60 Fusion Prices Could Rise by Rs. 3,000 in India

Motorola is said to preparing another round of price hikes for several smartphones under its portfolio in India. It is expected to become the latest brand to do so, following recent price hikes by OnePlus, Realme, Samsung, and Vivo. According to a tipster, Motorola’s recent price hike affects two mid-range smartphones, including the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion and Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, with both soon becoming more expensive to buy compared to their launch prices.

According to tipster Sanju Chaudhary on X, Motorola is expected to increase the prices of the Edge 70 Fusion and Edge 60 Fusion in India by up to Rs. 3,000.

The 8GB + 128GB variant of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is tipped to be priced at Rs. 33,999. Meanwhile, the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB could also see their prices increased to Rs. 35,999 and Rs. 37,999, respectively. The top-end model with 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage could be hiked to Rs. 40,999. For comparison, the handset was launched in the country earlier this year starting at Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants were priced at Rs. 29,999 and Rs. 32,999, respectively.

In recent months, the company had carried out a round of price hikes, which raised the prices of all three variants to Rs. 30,999, Rs. 32,999, and Rs. 35,999, respectively.

The handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It has a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Motorola Edge 70 Fusion packs a 7,000mAh battery with 68W wired charging.

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is also tipped to become Rs. 3,000 more expensive. Its 12GB + 256GB variant, currently priced at Rs. 29,999, could reportedly cost Rs. 32,999 following the hike.

This would not be the first price increase for the Edge 60 Fusion in India, either. The smartphone had already received a price hike in April, when its 12GB + 256GB variant was reported to have become Rs. 2,000 more expensive. It was initially launched in India in April 2025, priced at Rs. 22,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant and Rs. 24,999 for the 12GB + 256GB configuration.

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, a 6.67-inch 1.5K pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5,500mAh battery with 68W wired charging. It features a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
